One of our own—dear, sweet Mary—celebrated her 90th birthday this week. Mary has been vital to Gracing Spaces for most of its history. Leading our “Linen Ladies”, Mary makes sure that the neighbors we serve have ample supplies of pillows, comforters, sheets, towels, and other goods that help make a home.
Mary regularly amazes us all when she appears at our warehouse in her beloved classic Toyota Celica loaded with goods…even the occasional dresser! Even on our busiest work days, Mary’s energy and ever-present smile energize us all. We all want to be Mary when we “grow up”!
Mary’s gives so much of herself to make our local community better. Many folks asked what she wanted for her birthday. True to form, Mary encouraged donations to Gracing Spaces. Financial contributions poured in for pillows, bed linens, toiletries, and the many other goods Mary keeps ready for our clients. Thanks to Mary and all her many fans!
