Donate Home Goods and Furniture
Are you in the process of downsizing, emptying the house of a loved one, or moving? We can give some of your furnishings a new life, helping our Northern Virginia neighbors.
Our clients are starting a new chapter, typically moving into a small apartment so the items must be able to be moved without much assistance.
We accept clean, functional, gently used (or new!) donations. All donations are tax-deductible and a donation receipt is provided.

This Week's High Need Items
- Our shelves and warehouses are very full right now! Please consider donating to other worthy charities until our "outgoing" can catch up with our "incoming"!
How we use your donations
Your donation will be processed and go directly to our neighbors in the community - people moving out of homelessness, people struggling with mental health issues, refugees, foster families, and others in crisis or need. We want to provide items that show love and care as these individuals work to turn a space into a home!
Frequently Asked Questions
We like to have someone on your end who can help load bulky or heavy items. Also, it's nice if items are on the ground floor or in the garage. If you can't be there to help, please let us know and we'll figure out how to make it work!
Primarily Fairfax County. But we'll travel a bit further for critical need items. If you're unsure, please fill out our form and we'll talk!
You'll likely hear back in about two business days. If you don't, please reach out to donations@gracingspaces.com and let us know!
We don't charge for furniture pickup. That said, our trucks are our second biggest expense (after our warehouse), so we always accept donations to help defray the costs we incur picking up furniture!
