Grace Partners

In September of 2023, we began a partnership with Grace Ministries. Grace Ministries is a monthly opportunity for low-income neighbors in need to come to Centreville United Methodist Church (CUMC) to receive free clothes, home goods, toys, and food.
On the second Saturday of each month, Gracing Spaces volunteers fill one room at CUMC with furniture and home goods from our inventory. Grace Ministries clients (usually over 150 families) come and select items they need. It’s a great partnership because their clients get furniture they need, and we are able to pass along extra items from our inventory.
Julie and Janice coordinate this partnership with CUMCโ€™S Grace Ministries. There are opportunities to serve on Thursday evening when we load up the truck. On Friday afternoon volunteers unload the truck and stage the room. The Saturday runs from 7-10 AM.
Weโ€™ve found this a wonderful partnership and a beautiful ministry. We’re blessed to share in its mission, and youโ€™re welcome to join us!
