Fall Open House…with sunshine…and cake!

Perfect fall weather and flawless planning made for a fun Open House on November 2!  More than fifty friends, family, and total strangers were treated to “show and tell” tours of our two warehouses, refreshments, and details of the work we love doing every week.

Unlike our very busy workdays, this was also an afternoon to pause and reflect on God’s presence and guidance throughout the decades of this ministry.  As always, we pray that the neighbors we serve feel that presence and guidance in their own lives as well.

Many of our Open House visitors wondered out loud how they might contribute their time and talents.  We’re looking forward to welcoming them into this ministry, looking forward to an even bigger Open House next spring.  Though we can’t promise the same beautiful weather, we can promise there will be cake!
