Veterans + Recent Volunteers = Class of 2025!

Gracing Spaces seeks to be the bridge between abundance and need. Growing needs in our community, along with the happy spirits, strong work ethics, and “can do” attitude of our veterans, are attracting an abundance of new volunteers…
Bonnie, Eileen, Jessa, Terre, Donna, Nancy, and Susan have dived right in to help in several departments and assist social workers and clients on our very busy pickup days. Towhid has joined Scott with Tuesday morning clean-ups and repairs on furniture donations, along with refining the organization of our limited storage space. Jessica is a recent graduate of George Mason University and head of our communication team. She handles our social media, posting about events and high-need items through our Facebook and Instagram accounts.
Deacon David is piloting a program at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church to build bunk beds for our clients. Bunk beds are often requested because many of our clients live in small places. We are excited to see where this pilot project may lead.
Al, Ann, Bob, Charlie, and Howard have joined the team of veteran haulers in picking up donations that are the lifeblood of our ministry. Dean and Kristin manage routes and scheduling, with vital (and patient!) technical support from our president Bill.
We love seeing volunteers discover how their passions and talents can serve a neighbor in need. We welcome you to visit and explore unique opportunities for you. Please contact us at https://gracingspaces.com/donate-time-talent/
